After the major renovations couple years ago, the result is a modern and comfortable cafeteria. The food is overall decent, the prices are not exorbitant, and there is plenty of seating. What more could you ask for in a world-class national park? I do like the different types of recycling and other waste management they have, and the service is polite. The cafeteria has good maintenance and is kept overall quite clean. We like coming here when we visit Yosemite, especially with family members.

Quick service cafeteria with good portions and reasonable prices. Its a nice modern facility with a rustic historic charm. Reminiscent of the 7 tents that stood in that location before its remodel. Food choices were solid for it being in a park away from the city. Cafeteria had a salad bar, pizza station, 3 hot food stations (pasta, rotisserie chicken, Asian option), ice cream, and a nice bar. They also have a Peet's coffee. The food choices were affordable (compared to SF) and generally okay! Pizza ($30 for a large). More than enough for 4 people. Crust is on the thicker side. I'd say it's slightly better than cold dominos. Salad bar ($9 per pound). Lots of fresh veggies and toppings. It covers all the basics. Carne asada fries. had all the toppings and a good portion of meat! A little on the saltier side but delicious nonetheless. Chicken plate. Half a small chicken and it was surprisingly juicy and well seasoned! The portion was solid. Sides are nothing crazy. But if you're looking for the protein. This is probably your best bet!

We came here for dinner one night! We had a really enjoyable time. I thought the food here was very good and the outdoor seating was very nice. I ordered a dish with rice and meat. It was very flavorful! I thought it was a fun menu item for the national park to serve. It was pretty filling and had a decent amount of meat in it. I wish there was a little more vegetables with it but that's okay. The meal was ~$16 which wasn't terrible for the park. The waiter was friendly but did not want to give me extra vegetables. Overall a fun dinner!

We ate here a couple of times on our recent visit to Yosemite. We ordered the baked chicken with mashed potatoes and vegies and some sort of braised beef dish with rice and veggies. Both items were pretty good. On some occasions the entire indoor room is open which means there is plenty of seating. There are other times when they close half the room which makes for limited seating.
